The Theatre Support Project was an adaptive reuse and refurbishment project designed to consolidate clinical and non-clinical services into a single, cohesive environment in Melbourne’s CBD.

Designed by Gray Puksand, the project spans multiple levels and supports over 800 staff, delivering a combination of clinical, workspace and support environments that relieve pressure on the Parkville campus while improving accessibility and operational efficiency.

Grounded in the design philosophy of “Humanity with Purpose”, the project emphasises wellbeing, biophilic design and a more human-centred healthcare experience. Flooring was chosen to assist in creating calm, light-filled spaces that reduce stress and support both patients and staff.
